“Mapping a Patient’s Journey in Schizophrenia and the Role of a Novel Subcutaneous Risperidone”

Presented by: Adam Harrington, PhD

Presentation Description:

Despite decades of published literature and schizophrenia experts’ advocacy for increased long-acting injectable (LAI) utility and earlier LAI use in the course of schizophrenia management, real-world clinical practice with LAIs remain largely unchanged.  The goal of this presentation is to educate on this published LAI class data, including differences in adherence, hospitalization, and mortality rates with oral vs LAI antipsychotics.  Furthermore, this presentation will describe the product attributes and clinical trial data of a novel subcutaneous risperidone approved for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults.

Our conference would not be possible without the support of our Sponsors, so please plan to attend the presentation by Teva Medical Affairs from 7:45-8:30pm while enjoying libations and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a Member Mixer!
